Bha tòrr spòrs againn an-diugh! Chuir sinn oirbh aodaich dearg agus thug sinn a-steach £1. Rinn sinn dealbhan, thàinig na buddies a-staigh airson cluich agus bha sinn a’ dannsadh.
What had a great day today. We came in with red clothes on and put a £1 into the box for Red Nose Day. We made pictures, made cakes, we were dancing and the buddies also came in to play with us!

Bha sinn ag èisteachd ris an sgeulachd mu dheidhinn Goldilocks agus na trì mathan.
We listened to the the story about Goldilocks and the 3 bears. We compared the different sizes of coloured bears. We love Onery!
Tha sinn ag ionnsachadh mu dheidhinn muncaidhean san Fheasgar. Rinn sinn banana milkshake. Chaidh sinn dhan talla agus leig sinn oirnn gun e muncaidhean a bh’annainn ‘s streap air an climbing frame
In the afternoon we have been talking about monkeys. We made banana milshake, which was very yummy! We also pretended to be monkeys on the climbing frame.
We love to go outside in most weathers. Please make sure that your child comes into Sgoil-àraich with appropriate clothing on especially wellies and waterproof jackets if it’s raining.

The Seilleanan beaga went for a walk to the wee pond today and then we went up to the cafe in Asda for a cup of tea!
Bha tòrr spòrs againn an-diugh airson La Burns! Thàinig feadhainn a-staigh le tartain orra, bha iad a’ coimhead cho spaideil.
Dh’ fheuch sinn taigeis ach bha e “cho spicy”. Choimhead sinn air video mu Raibert Burns agus dh’ ionnsaich sinn gun do bhàsaich e nuair a bha e dìreach 37 bliadhna a dh’ aois. Choiseachd dhà bhalach aig àm snack le haggis airson ‘address to a haggis’ a dheànamh agus aig an deireadh an la, sheinn sinn Auld Lang Syne.
What fun we had today for Burns Day! A few children came in with a piece of tartan, they looked very smart!
We tried haggis but some of the children said it was too spicy. We watched a video about Robbie Burns and learnt that he died when he was just 37 years old.
Two boys walked in with the haggis to pipe music at snack time to address the haggis. At the end of the day, we all took part in Auld Lang Syne!
